Creative Director.
Founded the Creative Dept. for Web Divine (Xqsite), the web development division of divine, I shared responsibilities of hiring and training personnel, purchasing equipment, and setting up rules and standards for how the Creative Dept. would fit in to the overall web development methodology. Seeing the need for "speed to market" sites, I helped develop a "Jumpstart" program, where we could develop small, web-presence sites for clients who wanted to get on the web fast. I also directed the interface design of several HTML and ASP-based B2B websites, a Flash site, and a major e-commerce SAP-based web accounting application, and architected the Enterprise Information Portal used by Xqsite to handle all aspects of its internal and external communications.

Media Director.
As Media Director for Talcott Communications, a small magazine and web-publishing company, I fulfilled the roles of Production Manager, Webmaster, and IT Director into one single position, where I was the overall director of both magazine production, website design, production and sales, and computer/server installation, maintenance, and training. I first started at Talcott as a freelance graphic designer in 1994, was brought on as a full-time graphic designer in 1995, added web design to my list of responsibilities in early 1997, and took over the production department as Media Director in late 1998. Proofreading manuscripts at every stage, and coordinating with editors and freelance proofreaders
on all Victor releases, from children's to academic books. Also laid out books using PageMaker 5.0,
and consulted with editorial and production departments on conversion to Quark Publishing System
(QPS) for both the editorial and production departments in order to facilitate workflow
and to eliminate cross-platform conversion problems.
